Sentence connectors in English
The word which joins two sentences or words is called Sentence Connectors, like and, or otherwise, until, when, that, etc.
1. And – और
2. Or – या
3. Because – इसलिए
3. But -लेकिन
5. Considering – इस बात को समझते हुए
6. Except – को छोड़कर
7. Lest- वरना / अन्यथा/ ऐसा ना हो कि
8. If – यदि
9. Otherwise – वरना /नहीं तो
10.Suppose – माना / माना कि
11.Though – हालांकि
12. Although -यद्यपि
13. Till – तक
14. Unless – जब तक की
15. Until – जब तक
16. Until now – अब तक
17. When – जब /कब (while – जबकि/ जब तक)
18. Where – जहां /कहां
19. Whether – चाहे
20. Wherever – जहां कहीं
21. Whenever – जब कभी
22. Whoever – जो कोई भी
23. Whatever – जो कुछ
24. Yet – अभी भी
25. As – जैसे
26. Just as – in the same way (जैसे ही)
27. As far as – जहां तक
28. As well as – भी
29. As soon as – जैसे ही
30. As long as – जब तक
31. After – के बाद
32. Before – के पहले
33. Since – जब से
34. Ever since – जब भी या जब से
34. Nevertheless – नहीं तो
35.Than – तुलना करने के लिए
35. Even then – तब भी
36. So that- ताकि
37. As…..as – जैसे ही
38. Neither……nor – दोनों में कोई नहीं
39. Either……or – दोनों में कोई एक
40. Not only …..but also – ना ही …बल्कि
41. One hand ….on the other hand – एक तरफ से ……. दूसरी तरफ से One hand you are showing your honesty on the other hand you are planning to kill him.
