What is MRI Machine  ?

MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It is a medical imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the inside of the body. MRI machines are large, tube-shaped devices that the patient lies inside while the images are being captured.

MRI PROCESSES :

During an MRI scan, the patient is exposed to a strong magnetic field, which causes the hydrogen atoms in the body to align themselves in a particular way. Radio waves are then used to disrupt this alignment, causing the hydrogen atoms to emit a signal. These signals are detected by the MRI machine, which uses them to create highly detailed images of the body’s internal structures, such as organs, soft tissues, bones, and blood vessels.

MRI is a non-invasive imaging technique that can provide highly detailed images without the use of ionizing radiation, such as X-rays. It is used to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, including brain and spinal cord injuries, tumors, joint and musculoskeletal disorders, and cardiovascular disease.
